Greater then = to not showing up on screen

    OS X 10.4.8 Quark 6.52.
Since OSX came out, using postscript fonts the greater then, less then = to symbols do not show on screen. They will print. I have not tried every font but, Symbol seems to be the only postscript font where these will show on screen and print. If an opentype font is used it shows on screen and prints. Not latley but I've had opentypes show onscreen but not print. I do not have access to as big a font library in openface as I do in postscript so its not just a matter of switching to opentype.

I've worked at 2 companies the past 2 yrs and this was an issue in both.

I'm sure there are a lot of people doing medical work that use these symbols often. Is there a solution? Does Quark 7 correct this.

This kind of strange behavior is often caused by a messed up system font cache. Have you tried resetting the font cache?
