Problems with curved edged borders in Quark 4.11

I have some price points on a 4pp that I am putting. They sit in a blue rectangular box with curved edges and a white border of .5pt. This the sits upon a background colour.
The problem I am getting is that when I either pdf or print the file, the corners of my borders disappear and I am left with a line on either side of my price box and no corners on the border.
Has anyone had this problem before and if so, can it be corrected in some way.
I have deleted my prefs etc, to no avail.
    Any feedback appreciated thanks.

Are you printing your jobs to a postcript laser printer? If so, check your Utilities menu and make sure that 'use CPSI FIxer" is UNchecked. I've had experience where if that option is checked, the straight parts of the rounded corner box print, but the corners don't. Uncheck it and the whole box prints fine. Hope this helps.
