my picture box is NONE but color is appearing

I have a box with a color (that is at a shade of 85%). I have a graphic in a picture box, that is at a 6% opacity,  that is on top of the colored box. The picture box is marked NONE in the modify box. When I print it out there is a square shape appearing behind the image, as if I have the picture box filled with a background color, but I don't.

I opened up a new document to experiment with colors (as I am trying to match something) and the square didn't show up. I have also been playing around with opacity and shade to get rid of the background color and no luck.

If anyone can decipher my dilema and offer suggestions, I would appreciate it!

    Thanks!

Re: my picture box is NONE but color is appearing

     Hi

i tried the same at my end and was not able to replicate the issue.

Please let me know the OS and version of QuarkXPress that you are using?

Also check if there is any value of frame applied on that image,if yes then remove it and then check the results.

Also check if you are able to face the same problem with a new document too.

please check if you are getting the same output in PDF

    Regards

    Karam
