    Missing letters in imposed file

I'm having trouble with an Acrobat PDF that was imposed using the Print Collection imposer extension. The original PDF is fine, but the imposed file has seemingly random letters missing from the body text. There doesn't seem to be any logical pattern that I can see. Other instances of the same letters appear in the same lines as the deleted ones. This is a new error that I haven't seen before, despite using this software combination for several months. I need to get this sorted out ASAP as the job in question needs to be reprinted urgently. From looking on other sites, I think that ALAP had similar problems when they released v1 of imposer Pro before the Quark takeover. The font is the standard Mac OS Times. Other relevant info: Mac O/S 10.5.5, Acrobat 8.1.2. The Print collection version that I can find is from the Xpress Xtension manager. It is listed as v1.1

Re: Missing letters in imposed file

I've had the same problem with OS 10.4.11, Print Collection 1.1, Acrobat 8.1.2, and Quark 7.31. Imposing the pages in my file dropped the "rs" combination from the Sabon font. I've used this plug-in for a year with no ill effects until now, so I'm wondering at this point whether some combination of Apple or Adobe updates have broken something. I've uploaded files to Quark, but have no follow-up so far. Anyone paying attention over here?
