Hi – hope someone can help me.
I have an update version of Quark 7.2 (legit) which we upgraded from a version of Quark 4 (legit). It has been running fine for a little over a year. One of my colleagues was working on the Mac and his document crashed. Since then the Quark 7 has been running in 'Demo Mode'. I spoke with Quark and they said that I have to re-install Quark 7, ok. The installer asks me for the serial number of the previous version, which due to an unrelated issue, we no longer have any record of. Quark have said that there is nothing they can do without this serial number??? We do, however have a full (legit) version of Quark 6 running on another Mac. If I use the serial number from that will it render the Quark 6 obsolete? Or will it still run on the other machine? We have to use the Quark 6 maybe once per month and there is no reason for it to be online? Will this work.
