    Colors: How to make the IMG brighter once you´ve placed it?

    Hi,

    I just started to use Quark in my job this week, so I am fairly new using this program.

    I just wanted to ask you how to change the tone of an img once you have placed it en "el cuadro de img" ( Sorry but I use Quark in Spanish) so I only have the version in Spanish?

    What happens once I have placed the img en el " cuadro de img" is that I have three options appearing in " Hojas de Estilo",

    1) Modify "color del fondo";

    2) Modify " color de la img";

    3) Modify "color del marco".

     What interests me is to modify " el color de la img" / the tone of colour of the img, but the program does not allow it to me?

    How can I change this?

    Thanks for your help and patience.

    Hi,

    We can change the brightness of the image through picture effects.

    Highlight the image and then Navigate to Window>>picture effects.

    On the Picture effects palette click on the adjustments button and choose brightness.

    Be careful. The Style Sheets (Hojas de Estilo) are not done to alter brightness or whatever of an image. Just to have some "default settings" (to be applied to other picture boxes, like Paragraph Style Sheets automatically make changes to paragraphs) regarding the background of a picture box (color del fondo), the colour applied to a grayscale picture (color de la imagen), etc. So it's something totally different from what you target. Does this make sense to you?
