Greetings all,
I'm new here, but not new to Quark...been a user since 3.3. My background is entirely in print production, but I have a client who needs their job (a 32-page booklet) output as HTML. My question is probably quite basic; please be patient with an HTML noob :) I reviewed the posts in this section but didn't find the answer I needed, so here goes.
In order to achieve good HTML output, is it essential that the Quark file conform entirely to style sheets, with no manual formatting? I tend to do a fair amount of manual tweaking, probably a bad habit from an extensive history of book cover design where a finite, single-sided document needs no style sheets. In this instance, I'm working from a legacy file that uses style sheets but many of the new edits were manually adjusted. Now I'm wondering if I have to go back and redo some of this work to ensure that it all conforms to the styles.
Thanks from a stressed-out production manager
