Quark 6.1: Changing File System Servers (Unix to Linux)

We recently changed the server our Quark 6.1 files live on as well as the one where the images that the files are linked to.

We went from a UNIX server to a Linux server with two Sun disk drives. The Quark files live on one drive while the images live on the other.

The issue we are encountering is when we open the Quark files, we cannot print the files, perform a collect for output, etc. -- it simply locks up. This means, we cannot automatically redirect the link to the new image location. Since we are working in large volumes (hundreds of Quark files, thousands of images), manually going in a relinking is not an option.

Does anyone know of a solution for this problem?

     Thank you!
