    how to insert current date

Hi guys, I wanna know is there a way to use xtags to put current date string on template which would be created as pdf. For example, I wanna insert page number, then I put <#> in text box. When pdf is created, this sign is converted to page number, 1,2,3.... Is there such a way to insert date? Thank you a lot.

What XPress version? While there is no program code for that function, there was at least one free XTension for that purpose in the past, but you'd need to see whether it is available for your version.

As stated above (or below, depending on how you visualize this thread), a free extension has been developed by Vision's Edge, called Today.xnt.
    You'll see it's available for v4, 6 & 7 for Mac and v6 for PC.

    Hope this helps!
