Quark stopped working, reverted to trial version

    Hi,

I have QuarkXPress 7.3 installed on two computers. Today, the one I have on my main computer stopped working and the error message said that my trial period had ended.  But that doesn't make sense because it was fully activated. I made sure I had deactivated it on the old computer I no longer use.  I didn't have any problems when I went to install it on this one and it was succesfully activated online.  I called Tec Support and was told to uninstall it, then reinstall it, which I did.  Now I can't get it reactivated on this reinstall.  The error message says I already have two copies running.

Does anyone know what I should do? I'm in the middle of a job, so I'm running it in trial mode.

    Thanks!

     Hi David,

Can you please confirm the exact error message that you get while launching QuarkXPress?

Also can you confirm the Operating system which you are currently using?

    Regards

    Karam

    Hi Karam,

I called tech support and they gave me a new activation number, so it's working fine again.  I should have posted a follow-up to my original post, which I will remember to do in the future. Thanks for offering to help though.

    Best,

    David
