Quark 6.1 was open on my co-workers computer (PC). The file she was working on is of a newspaper due to print at the end of the week. The file was located on an external hard drive. She went to save the file and close it and received a message "cannot find folder or volume" The only option was to click OK. She clicked OK. Then she received an error message " Quark encountered a problem and has to close" She went back to the folder the file was saved in and it is missing. Automatic backups was not set. I've tried everything I cpuld think of for locating the file, but cannot find it. Does anyone have any ideas (Besides having to start over)
