Having received an email from JRS, I tried opening up the .krn in text editor and saving as a text file and then importing them into my Quark 8 document with success.
However my new kerning value tables created in Quark 8 and saved as .xml do not work in the same way.
I still do not understand how they dont work when Quark now only allows you to save these kerning value tables as .xml files.
Is there something in Quark preferences that I need to switch on or off to allow these .xml files to actually work?
Point of interest I am using Suitcases XI.
