I have a customer with an odd leading issue affecting just one of four users with identical configurations. Setups are Quark 7.5 on OS X 10.5.8 MacPro.
Leading with the default 20% should be 12pt for a 10pt font. On this users' computer the setting is 20%, but it displays at an additional 20% (14.4pt). This can be best demonstrated with this screen capture:

The box on the left has Optima 10pt with auto leading. The next box has the leading set to 12pt, and the righthand box is 14.4pt. The expected result is for the first two boxes to match; instead the left and right boxes match with the center using a smaller leading.
Optima happens to be the font used here, but it isn't specific to the font - several were tried with the same results.
If this same document is moved to another computer in the workgroup, it opens as expected - the first two boxes match, and the box on the right has larger leading. The 12pt and 14.4pt leadings remain as-is; it's the auto-leading that changes.
I trashed the entire Quark preferences folder (~/Library/Preferences/Quark/QuarkXPress 7.0/), with no change. I also trashed the local copy of Optima and used a fresh copy from a computer operating properly, no change. I confirmed the preferences do show the auto leading at 20% on all computers.
If anyone is curious, the Quark file used to generate the screenshot is here:

One of the interesting aspects of this to me is the leading is an additional 20%, not 40%.
Everything else on this computer is operating properly.
I'd be much appreciative of any suggestions!
Thanks,
Mitch
