I just learned, that the underline styles in version
8.1.2 (and earlier) / MacOS are automatically set to overprint. Is there any
known use for it? I couldn't find any topic on that.
I
suppose it can be quite dangerous, esp. when you are working with saved
underline styles throughout a document with background colors or if you choose to
combine them with rules (paragraph attributes).
The only workaround seems to be changes in the trap information palette or in the trap specifications (for an entire document!).
Any idea on this?
