Export to PDF with network account

I‘m using QuarkXpress 8.12 with snow lepard and a network account on a snow leopard server. Allways if I a want to export to PDF the following error occured: "Unable to create the "/Networl/Servers/.../Desktop/Layout.pdf" file." But if I use a local account everything works fine. This is not the resolution I prefere. Does anyone know this problem? ukgrafik

Did you try saving the file to the same network location from QuarkXPress?

Please make sure that you have write permissions on the mounted network volume and you are able to save files to it.

Yes, I did. >>Please make sure that you have write permissions on the mounted network volume and you are able to save files to it. I am sure that I have the required write permissions. There is no problem with other programs or files. Also the time of processing the layout as PDF lasts a long time. At the end of this process QuarkXPress is not able to write the PDF-Document to any location. If I am connected as a local user it works on the fly.

Could you please follow these steps:

    • Go to Preferences> PDF> Error Settings> Enable the Log Errors.

    • Now, export as PDF so that an Error log is generated.

    • Mail the Error log to sarbjit@quark.com.

Please send the System Profile of the "Snow Leopard Server" and the "Client Machine" so that we can investigate further.

    Thank you for your patience.
