    Embarrassed

It's possible to have a template qxp in order to generate a slideshow (photo gallery, with captions)

with time control, manual control and full screen?

    Best regards to all

    Hi, oriano,

sure. You just need to explain a bit more how you want this to function, where the pictures reside, how the layout should look like etc.

    Thanks
    Matthias

    Dear Matthias

we would want to publish a series of photographic porfolios on an our website.
And I would like a slideshow solution in swf.
We work with Qxp, so,  if it’s possible, we would want to realize the slideshow swf, directly from Qxp.
Here it finds an image of the layout of the slideshow that we have prepared in Qxp.

    Re: slideshow

Dear Matthias, the layout that I have sent in the last post, is only an indicative layout.
The layout of the slideshow can become simpler, if it's necessary.

The indispensable object are: images, captions, botton Play, Stop, Rew...
All the other object can be removed.
    It can be made?

If you want, I can send to you the layout file qxp (8.12 Mac).

    Best regards

    Hi, oriano,

as I am on the (snowy) road for a few days, unfortunately currently I don't have too much time to spend on it.

I did have some time this morning at the airport though for a quick shot. Something like this: SWF ?

    Thanks

your swf file is decidedly better than all the layout that I have made until now Smile

PS: also here from me (Bourgogne - France), it is snowing :)

    Hi, Oriano,

when I left Hamburg there was hard to get a taxi because of all the snow. Here in London the snow is basically gone.

Ok, so you are happy with this then? Here's a variant: SWF

    Thanks

    Ciao Matthias

I think that the version precedence can go well.

PS: this is my first swf experience: http://www.privatephotojournalism.com/

    Nice looking site.

Here are both variants with QXPs then:

    SWF1 with QXP1
SWF2 with QXP2 (only difference: has a progress bar)

    Enjoy!

    Re: slideshow

    Hi RCannon,

yes, of course. All you need ot do is have a start script for page 1 that starts the animation.

If you want the layout like the ones I created for this thread, just modify script "Initializer for page 1" (which is already the start script for page 1) and add an action "Run Script 'Go to next page looper'" and you are done.

    Re: slideshow

Matthias: Hello. I just joined the forum today (7/6). Looking for sample files to create a slideshow with stop and go buttons and progress bar. However when I downloaded the file to my Mac, the Quark file wouldn't open. I have Quark 7.5 on my computer with Interactive.

Can you "save as" for  QID 7.5 and email me the files? Will they work on Quark 7.5? Am exploring all my options.

Can music (mp3) be attached also? Once created can the files be exported as swf as well as fla?

    My email is: mrosenth@unf.edu

    Thanks,

    Mary Ann

    Re: slideshow

     Hi Mary Ann,

yes, I can do that, however I cannot garantuee that due to downsaving all features remain the same. Please test carefully.

Yes, you can include music (MP3) and export everything as SWF.

You can't export as FLA, as this is a proprietary and undisclosed format.
