Page layout issues - section A3 into A4

I've inherited a 4 page A4 flyer made in QuarkXPress v8.01. My problem is that the flyer is laid out so that pages 2 and 3 (inside pages) are set as A3 layout but I need to convert so that I have 4 A4 pdf pages to upload on the web. I know how to export as a pdf but cant change A3 layout to sectioning into pages. Any solution? I hope this query makes sense.

    Best wishes,

    Cath

    Hello Cath

I think Scale XT can help you.

NOTE: Please create a copy of the A4 documen.

Go to Windows -> Scale. Set Width and Height to A3 page size values and hit scale.

You will have a document that has been scaled to A3 size and will ouput like that.

I missed that you are using version 8.01, Please download the free update to QuarkXPress 8.12 (Windows) or 8.15 (MAC).

    The link to download is:

You will get the Scale Option in this version.

To get A3 to change to two A4's you would need some work however Scale XT will make it easy to get to A4 size.

I am not sure how the page is laid out, however you may try these steps:

    1. Scale single A3 page to twice the size of an A4 page.

    2. Copy half the content to a new A4 page and the other have to another A4 page. off course, some elements may not fit however it will be a lot easier after scaling.

I hope I could make it clear.
