    Installing 7.5 from scratch

Currently in office with 15 Macs running 6.5.2 Company purchased upgrade to v7 a few years back but now ready to finally migrate up. Is it really necessary to have to a) install 7.0.0 b) install 7.0.1 c) then install 7.5? Is there no single, one shot install for 7.5?

You'll have to do at least one upgrade. But you can do it from 7.3. Look for the full installer in the downloads. Then just give it your 7.0 serial.

Nuts. We were given discs when we made the purchase. Of course, they were 7.0. Thanks again Qrk

You do not need to install all those updates.

QuarkXPress 7.5 did have a complete installer. I do not see the links on the website. However you can get in touch with the FREE Chat Support, they should be able to help you with the link.

Once you have the latest installer, you may install with respective serial number on QuarkXPress 6 (You can install QuarkXPress 7 even if the machine does not have QuarkXPress 6, all you need is the original and the new serial number).

    [Edit]

I got the links for you:

Matt or Matthias, could we sticky this thread? Trying to find these installers through the normal search process in the downloads does not work.

While we're on the subject of website shortcomings, who the h#ll organized the site? Erik's right, it is hard to find installers. Why? There is so much noise on the site. Time for a revamp.
