yes, that's what I mean. When you choose this menu option, your activation (you have two as Erik correctly points out) gets transferred off your computer (thus deactivating the device) and onto Quark's activation server.
When you install on another machine, QuarkXPress contacts the activation server to see whether an activation is available. if yes, the new device gets activated.
If you just delete the installation, then the activation remains on the machine and you can't acivate it yourself on another machine, therefore it is important that you FIRST deactivate the license (and then delete).
