    Search and Replace Special

Don't know if you've ever tried.
To search and replace special characters (such as alt-tab, unbreaking spaces and so on) you can insert one in your document then export text with X tags and open it in whatever text editor. In there, search and replace the tabs, spaces or whatever with the tag you've just made (the special character you inserted in your XPress doc then appears under a specific tag). Save that text or piece of text with .txt extension and reimport it with Style Sheets.
It works great! Hope this helps.

    nice tip, j-m!

as an unrelated aside, imho (and as an ex-dutch language speaker, i feel i'm in a position to make this comment) there is no need for you to apologise at the end of your msgs with a language disclaimer. your command of the english language doesn't leave anything to whine about by anyone - it's as good as most people's here and certainly as good as mine
