    Keycaps for OSX

Only noticed this the other day so thought I'd share.
Am pretty sure it wasn't there on the initial OS 10.3 install but with my current 10.3.9 if you go to System Preferences>International>Input Menu Tab you can click on "Keyboard Viewer" which is just like Keycaps from OS9. Once turned on it can be selected from the Flag icon top right.
    :D

Yeah, you can use it but it's pretty crappy, IMO, not nearly the same as Keycaps. I've also read on here about an app called FontBook (no space between Font and Book and definitely not the OS X font manager) that is supposed to be very good... alas it keeps crashing on me on launch so I can't evaluate it, and damn if works keeps getting in the way so I haven't had time to troubleshoot it either!

Prefer using "symbol" in "Art Directors Toolkit 3" bundled free with some macs.

Look up PopChar x at www.macility.com
It's everything keycaps was and more.

It's not free, but worth it

FontBook (no spaces) is/was bundled with Suitcase, yes it's good but a bit longwinded.

A free app is also available called PickChar.
    Hope it helps!
