Item-Modify-Offset Across and Down forces me to lock my graphic to the top left hand corner of the graphic box. How to I modify the graphic box to allow the image to be imported and anchored to the lower left hand corner? Do I need an extension, if so is there one out there?

Two XTensions that might help are: Badia's Full Measure XTension, which has a pop-up menu that allows you to manually choose to align a graphic to any side of its box; and Xtags, which lets you define a picture's alignment while importing it into anchored or fixed boxes that it creates when bringing in tagged files.

well i don't think we have an xtension for such functionality so far. Whenever I have to garb an image at a specific location in QuarkXpress picture box, I made offset changes to picture box tool in the pref window and that helps me to some extent. At the same time it is not comfortable because I have to redo settings if my pic box or image size changes. :(
