Before you ask about potential issues here, may we suggest trying the following five easy steps first:

1) Update to latest version
Make sure to update to the latest version of QuarkXPress first, as your issue might already be fixed there.

The above links provide you with the latest patch, you might have to download updates beforehand. Download codes:

Win - Microsoft Windows (please read system requirements which version is required)

2) Update to latest printer driver / PPD
We have noticed that a lot of printing problems are caused by old PPDs or printer drivers (e.g. CUPS), especially since QuarkXPress is Universal Binary (version 7.01 and higher).

Make sure that you install a 64-Bit Printer Driver when you use a 64-Bit Operating System.

Visit the website of your printer vendor to find the latest updates.

3) Read the Frequently Asked Questions
