How do I leave a gap before a new page?

Postby G.E.R.R.Y. » 06 Apr 2016, 14:55

If I want to leave a gap before a new chapter, can I just insert an empty picture anchored to the text box "before the gap"? If so, is there an optimum size that the box should be?

You may use paragraph 'Space Before' setting on the first paragraph of each chapter.

Sorry, I think we're at cross-purposes. I was referring to trying to leave a gap in the reflowable epub version, not in the print version.

I know you were talking about reflowable epub.
Paragraph format settings are applied to reflow epub as well, so paragraph space before, that you set in layout should be there in reflowable epub as well.

Thanks, I'm going to need to experiment with the 'Space Before' settings. Does this learning curve ever stop?
