Excel text import and alignment

Postby DMLarson » 14 May 2017, 10:55

I am a marginally self-trained user of QuarkXPress 9 who does some technical book layout. I am facing a project with two tables, each with over 1000 rows x 5 columns of Excel text to import. Apparently tables that big cannot be imported, so I did the first one one page at a time (about 35 pages). Argh. Now I'm cleaning up that mess and cannot find a way to control the vertical alignment of the text in the table cells. No problem doing horizontal center alignment. Any suggestion would be welcome. Thanks.

Select all cells, press ctrl+m, set the vertical alignment.
