there's a difference between supported and "will run (with or without flaws)".
Quark officially supports QuarkXPress 2015 (with
a few know Sierra-specific issues) and QuarkXPress 2016 (without
any Sierra-specific issues).
There are some people who have QuarkXPress 9 or 10 running under El Capitan, however as Quark doesn't support this combination, we cannot give you any help and you will run it at your own risk.
If you decide to upgrade, then yes, there are two upgrades paths:
- Upgrade from ANY version (so basically 3-10) to QuarkXPress 2016.
- Or upgrade from the previous version (QuarkXPress 2015) with 50% off.
You can install the upgrade without having to have the previous version installed, however you do need our previous serial number.
Currently we have a nice offer if you upgrade until Nov 30: http://content.quark.com/productivity-bundle-en.htmlhttp://content.quark.com/productivity-bundle-gb.html
