Quark 10.5.2 will not open

Quark 10.5.2 will not open

This version of Quark continually hangs upon start in Windows 10 and Task Manager says nothing but "Not Responding".

It has given me problems while trying to Export to PDF in the past, but I've been able to get it done exporting pages as .eps in the past.

Right now, just getting the thing to boot up correctly would be good enough.

I hope you can help.

Might this also be related to "Windows 10 - Version 1607" mentioned in Matthias' post regarding Q 9?

I'm seeing it happen trying to open Q2015 as well.

as QuarkXPress 10 is not supported on Windows 10, we unfortunately cannot help you. Please see here:

QuarkXPress 2015 and 2016 will work fine on Windows 10 (64 bit).

If it is like version 9 after Windows' Anniversary Update (the one you indicate) I think there is something up with both the Welcome Screen and the New Document dialog.

With QXP shut down, try disconnected the computer from Internet access. So unplug the cable or shut down your WiFi connection. Then try starting QXP 10 again.
