Text justifying problem, QE-10

Postby Dunkel » 11 Jul 2017, 06:51

Hello everybody!

Here a basic and probably trivial - but irritating - problem I have. My text look like this:

What would be the proper H&J settings to not get these crazy space between words? I have tried a lot of different set ups but always get here and there these lines with two or three words plus big spaces...

All ideas, hints and links are welcome. Thank you in advance!

Hi Dunkel,

can you turn on invisibles (command+i)? I assume that you have a soft-return behind "paikka". If you remove that, then you will not get such gaps.

Thanks
Matthias

As well, if one has too great a limit on hyphenation, one can also get such rivers in text.

Thank you, Sir! It was exactly that. Scary quick answer... I have to come out with a bit more challenging.
Thank you very much!
