Exporting to PDF - Preferences - Fit in Window

Hi all,

I was under the impression that when exporting to pdf, in the hyperlinks dialogue there are options to Fit Window, Fit Height, Fit Width etc. I do want my pdf to display the full page on opening , so have set it to Fit Window. However it does not open that way; I can only see thew top half of the document. Could there be something else overriding this setting, or am I misunderstanding what it does?
