I've look and cant find how to script a option tab with a character fill. I know how to make a tab list with a tab at a certain location but I need the tab to all the way to the end of my text box. Just like a option tab.

Thanks

I have a feeling you can't script this... It's been a while since I used or scripted Quark, but I think you have to export the text with XPress Tags, edit it in a scriptable editor (Text Wrangler?), using the XPress Tag for option tab, and re-import it into Quark.
It's not as hard as it sounds, and if no one else can help I'll try and dig out an old script tonight... I know I've done this and it worked well!

Thanks Emma, I was hoping it was somthing simple that I could do in scripts. Were coping text from one catalog into another and appling the script and only doing a few paragraphs at a time. So going XPress Tags and a editor would not be worth it. Is there a way to do it in a find and replace? Replace a regular tab with a option tab?
