QuarkXPress 9.5.4.1 + FontExplorer X Pro 2.1.4 issue

Hi All!
Anyone else facing similar issue with that config (+ OS 10.8.5)? Connexion seems to fail so that no more fonts are detected! Altough the plugin says some fonts are activated, Quark just not recognize fonts anymore.

I'm using FontExplorer Pro 4.1? are you using 2.1.4 or is that a typo?

Oh my bad! FEX is v4.1 as well, 2.1.4 is the version of its Quark plugin! Sorry! I've run OnyX but no luck Quark still not recognizes fonts other than System's.

Solved the issue by going back to FontExplorer 4.0.2. Recommend not upgrading to 4.1 until the issue is resolved.

Sorry to hear that.
I always do a manual option drag of the file to Backup folder after working on it and a final Collect for Output. All current work belonging to clients is backed up to multiple external drives and DVD. Still have things go missing from time to time, but its a rare occurrence these days.

New version out but still didn't solve the problem initially - I had to clean the app and system caches a few times and clean the system font folders but now working fineWHAT'S NEWVersion 4.1.1:Resolved:Fonts permanently activated in FontExplorer X Pro were no longer available in many other Applications such as Adobe CS5/5.5/6 and QuarkXPress 8 and 9 following an update to FontExplorer X Pro 4.1. Cleaning the System and Application Font Caches generally resolved this problemRegardsIan
