QPS 8 WebHub doesn't understand colours

Postby esamoilov » 14 Apr 2009, 07:57

Hello all!
I noticed that it is impossible to check-in the article opened in WebHub 8 if the colour of the text is NOT black. Quark XPress Server generates the error message like "The specified color is not available to the document". If I change the colour of the text to black, everything becomes OK and I'm able to check it in after editing using the Web-browser.
Does anybody notice the same? Are there any suggestions how to handle this error?
Thanks

Hello Esamoilov,
I have not noticed any such issue with QPS 8 and Web Hub at my end. What Web browser are you using and what version? Also, have you contacted Quark Enterprise Support team to help you address this issue at your end?
Thanks!

Hello Arminder Singh,
Thanks for your reply.
At my side the issue is reproducible with any browser: IE, Safari, Firefox 2 and, latest versions.
The issue was tested on absolutely clean QPS 8 GM (Mac OS) installation with default settings to exclude customization errors.
Of course the issue was reported to Quark Enterprise Support and I'm waiting for the answer.
