Hi all,

What is that and where do you find it? Read all about it here:

Great to have Version 1. Thanks a lot.
As stated before the app can not handle files with wrong filenames i.e. with a dot in it. I have to change these filenames manually before converting.
For the next version it would be great to have the button as a dropzone for converting inside the app.

Is the missing PasteBoard XT taken into account at converting? I mean there used to be a f* XT that some designers had installed when regular clients did not and it a was a real mess when trying to open such files in further versions of QuarkXPress. There is or was XTs to kill that message afterwards but is it part of your Converter?

Hi Jean-Marie,

No that XT to kill the Pasteboard XT alert is not part of the Converter. Converter only includes XTs which were part of original QuarkXPress 9 application. We have developed a custom XT to handle Pasteboard XT alerts. If you require that XT, kindly let us know we can provide it. You just need to add it your XTension folder of the QuarkXPress Document Converter and then select your document for conversion.
Pasteboard XT was a third party XT and there may be many such third party XTs. A common XT can't resolve alerts for all such XTs.

Hi Sirish, I can easily understand. I was asking that because I read sth related to that on another forum like 2 days ago. I know there is a Killer available and just wondered wether it would or should be integrated in your Converter. As for me, I think all of my documents dating back then are or already updated or definately disappeared in disk crashes.
Thanks for your input!

Hi Jean-Marie,

good idea, however I think Markzware stopped developing that with QuarkXPress 8:

Hi Jean-Marie,

ah, I didn't know they updated Killer XT to version 9. I'll ask them.

Thanks
Matthias

Hi Jean-Marie,

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, we have a sample XT to remove the slug from legacy documents which have been created using the Pasteboard XT and for which now Pasteboard XT is not available. If required, we can provide it to the customers who can add it to the XTension folder of the QuarkXPress Document Converter before converting such documents.
