New Document Opens in Full Screen

Postby myerlee » 30 Sep 2016, 18:19

Why does New Document open in full screen view? Any way to change or set a preference to open window in a designated size.
Thanks
Lee

Hi Lee,

do you mean "full screen" as in OS X full screen? Or stretching from corner to corner (And you can see the menu bar)?

A screenshot might help to explain the issue please.

Thanks
Matthias

Thanks so much for replying!
Attached is a screen shot of a new 3.5 x 2 file. Fills my entire 24" screen.
Im guessing/hoping I have something checked/not checked that I have misunderstood.

I know 2 issues is cheating, but I also get an error notice when I create PDFs telling me unable to create PDF for blank pages.
I do not have the include blank pages box checked anywhere. Will not proceed until I check OK. Bothersome.
Same setting I used for years on 9.2.

Thank you!
