Extracting text from Q2015 to MS Word document?

Postby MadSam » 31 Oct 2016, 09:49

Does anyone know if there is a new plug in to do this or not? I used to be able to extract text from Quark 8.5 to a word document, but I haven't been able to find a plug in or I was hoping that Q2015 would have it automatically in the software.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Cari

You can select the text, then go to File > Save Text...

In the dialog box you have to select the Save As Type: Word Document.

If your layout has many unlinked textboxes, you can simply export to PDF, open the resulting PDF in Acrobat Pro, then Save As the PDF as Word document.

I've forgot!

After selecting the text you can simply right-click (or Cmd-click) and choose Sate Text...
You can also use the Ctrl+Alt+E (Cmd+Option+E) shortcut after selecting the text.
