Exporting to PDF with Bleed

Postby pizzarollz » 16 Feb 2017, 11:44

Hello,

I am trying to export my Quark file to PDF with a bleed of 0.125" on all sides. I go to File>Export>Layout as PDF then when the window pops up to export/save the file I go down to options and switch the PDF Style to (well I have tried every PDF Style). Then select Marks switch the mode to Centered, I leave the Width at 0.003", Length at 0.25", Offset at 0.125", then I select 'Include Bleed Marks. Next I select Bleed and change the Bleed Type to Asymmetric with 0.125" for Top, Bottom, Inside, and Outside. I leave the box checked "Clip at Bleed Edge' (I have also tried it without it checked). Once that is all set I select OK, then Save. I go to the PDF and find that all the marks are there but the document isn't "bleeding" to the marks. I have tried all settings increased all measurements and nothing works to actually make the document bleed.
Please Help!
Thank You!
