Sorry Rohit.
It still doesn't work.
The shortcut is shown as Shift-Command-C in the Style menu, and in the Prefs.
But the shortcut doesn't do anything.

Hello grumpiestt,

Just do one more thing:
1: Open Preferences dialog > Keyboard Shortcut tab.
2: Search for "Copy" shortcut and Change it to Command+C and
3: Now search for "Center Alignment" and assign it Shift-Command-C and press OK

Now it will work.

Thanks
Rohit

It still doesn't work.

Copy is already shown as Command-C.
When I type Shift-Command-C opposite "Justify Centre" I get an error message saying that Command-C is already in use.
See attached screen shot.
I am definitely holding down the Shift key as well as Command.
For the time being I have reassigned F1, F2, F3 and F4 as Undo, Cut, Copy and Paste (like my lovely clackety 1989-vintage keyboard).
Now if I type Shift-Command-C the para is centred.
I quite like using the function keys in this way, but it's still irritating!
