Setting preferences for photo import?

Postby jgold723 » 11 May 2017, 13:13

Is it possible to set certain preferences for imported photos? Such as run around, border, etc.?

You can not do this before importing. After import yes - use the Item Styles feature. Set one image, save it to Item Styles. Then apply the style with one click to the selected images. This procedure has the advantage that you can change the settings of all the images at any time later.

Sure.

With no documents open, double-click on the Picture tool on the tool bar, or go through Preferences. Set the default for the picture boxes, which may mean you need to scroll down a little, choose it and click the Modify button.

This method can be used to set an of the tools that have preferences, not just picture boxes.

You're right, sorry for the wrong information. In the same way as described by Mike Wenzloff, I set the zoom and line thickness after installing the program - I have forgotten that this can also be done with image frames. Anyway, I still recommend using Item Styles - it's a great feature.
