HTML5

Postby PaulOK1405 » 23 Aug 2017, 05:55

Hi

Just wondering I have being using Quark 2016 to create HTML5 Publications, up till now they have all been standard portrait documents. But now I am working on a landscape publication and would like the HTML5 publication to scroll vertically instead of horizontally is there any way of doing this?

Thanks
Paul

Hi,
Yes. you can achieve this use case in three ways.

1.
Create Landscape Document with multiple sizes. for ex: to create vertical scrollable landscape layout, you have to create new layout with the size of 1024 X 2304 (which is multiple of standard size 768 i.e 3 X 768)

2.
Create Landscape Layout with default size. insert three pages. start section on Page 1 from Layout Panel.go to file Export as HTML5 > Options > General > Check Convert sections to page stacks.

3.
Create Landscape Document with default size. draw Big Picture Box 1024 width and 768 Height at 0,0 origin. Apply scroll zone interactivity with scroll vertically setting.

Thanks

I think I might have explained it wrong. I have created an A4 landscape brochure and I want it to be able to read downward instead of left to right. Is this possible.

Thanks again Paul
