After years, QuarkXpress 2017 consistently quits on launch

After years of using QuarkXpress 2017 on my MacBook Air, it stopped launching, consistently quitting on launch. It never opens. Of course i've restarted my computer, searched for a Preferences file (as advised for earlier versions of Quark), updated to High Sierra, checked for Quark 2017 updates, re-downloaded Quark 2017 and re-installed it. Anybody else experience this? What could have gone wrong? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Wally,

first, please use the Quark Cache Cleaner to clean all caches and preferences. If that doesn't solve it, it could also be a corrupt font.

And please post a crash report (e.g. via pastebin).
