Importing IDML Tables

Postby peterpica2 » 11 Mar 2018, 13:55

Will 2018 be any better at importing InD tables in IDML files? I found that Quark creates text blocks WITHIN table cells, but they're awkward to work with and cells do not expand or compress after edits. I've tons of tables in InD but would switch to QE in a heartbeat if the tabular import capabilities were considerably better than 2017's.

Hope you have positive comments on this one. Getting anxious! ;-)

Hello Peter,
Yes, QuarkXPress 2018 is better in importing tables from IDML. Can you please share some sample documents for testing?
Thanks,
Ramesh
