Quark imports my XML file but converts the apostrophes to a question mark (?). The XML file is created by Lotus Notes and indicates UTF-8 encoding in the declaration. XSL processing

I finally gave up and had a coworker create a database in Lotus Notes that allows me to edit the file, then export as an XML file with only the wanted data.

Splitting phrases when justifying text

Quark is defaulted not to break capitalized words, so you do not necessarily need to add those words to your hyphenation exceptions. This option is in the H&J dialog box; it should be unchecked.
