Re: Hyperlinks

If you have QuarkXPress 2018, you can do this in a single click. You need to run the "convert text to hyperlinks" script from the JavaScript palette. You may download the 7-day test drive and try it yourself.

In QuarkXPress 2017 or older, you need to do this manually.

However, I still get the same error with the 2018 version. Thanks Please follow these steps to delete QuarkXPress Preferences: 1. Hold...

Re: Simple question for character style format

The character style format 'blue' that I can create requires the definition of font size and so on. I have to create two character style formats: one for Headline' and one for 'Normal'. Is there no other solution? QuarkXPress offers a "Based on" option while defining a new Style Sheet. You may use ...

Re: Javascript folder

As I understand, you wish to create a script for multiple Find/Change operations. You may create a CSV file (plain text comma separated values), for pairs of "search" and "replace" values. You may then adapt the script to read all the pairs from the CSV file and replace them one by one. You may read...

Re: QXP2016 vs QXP2017 vs ID CC2018 - speed

I would like to add that, Peter has also confirmed that the slowness while saving documents was caused by a combination of FontAgent and VirusBarrier. If any one of the two are disabled on his machine, the save operations are fast. So the two might be blocking some operation causing QuarkXPress to s...

Re: Making a PDF in Quark 2015 in High Sierra

Please try resizing the dialog, this is an issue on High Sierra. We support QuarkXPress 2016 and 2017 on High Sierra, you may want to check with a Test Drive.
