I'm too old to be a software gizmo freak. All shadows, beziers are not important for me. What is important, is to have solid and reliable workhorse. I;m using QXP 7.5 on MacOS 10.5.8 and I have similar problem. I apply a drop shadow on a box containing picture, and when i delete this box dropped shadow persist. I cant do anything with it.
