Re: How to get single first page in pdf when exporting sprea

Well, I can also ask my clients to do so but it's impossible to ask potential viewers they post this materials for. If we're dealing with regular sizes I usually don't use that options, because some people may choose to print and 2 page spread printout could be hard to read. But this is not a case. ...

Re: How to get single first page in pdf when exporting sprea

Thank you Jean-Marie and Max, I really appreciate that you spent your time on this issue. Sometimes one wrong step may lead into wrong direction. This is exactly what happened to me. I saw the option for displaying cover page in two page view (which should be in "one page view" btw) but I must be do...

Re: How to get single first page in pdf when exporting sprea

Thanks Jean-Marie but setting two page display in AR doesn't help, it shows the cover with next page. The half way around it is to add in Quark blank page before cover but then you see it as a spread, something I want to avoid. Mike, unfortunately for us or rather for Quark, InDesign has that capabi...

How to get single first page in pdf when exporting spreads

Hi,

Does anybody knows how to get a single page when exporting to pdf with spreads. My document is small and will benefit greatly from showing the pages as a spreads but when I do that, the first page (cover) is not single anymore.

Re: Export to pdf doesn't support two color projects

Interesting, I always wondered what's the difference between these two. I'm one of those who meticulously check all files in usage box before output so no conversion is necessary for me. Is this all the CMYK + Spot setting doing? Converting RGB to CMYK?

Re: Export to pdf doesn't support two color projects

"I rarely give up. I get beat up by this stuff sometimes, though..." Hi Mike, I know what you mean. It is good to know that this time solution was simple like that. You saved me a lot time. Really, it would be nice if Quark added small manual about these kind of changes. Or maybe post it on FB. I'm ...

Re: Export to pdf doesn't support two color projects

Oh, I see you don't give up so quickly. Sorry for not checking it to the end. I went to Options>Color, chose CMYK and Spot and saw all CMYK settings as before. I thought turning off Color Manage didn't do anything. But you proofed me wrong. This time I completed export to pdf and checked the output ...

Re: Export to pdf doesn't support two color projects

Unfortunately it didn't work but thank you for trying. The question is: Did you export to pdf my file and got two colors? Or as I see from the screen shot you are working on PC and are unable to open my file. In any case, what you suggest can't be solution because I'm using the same color settings i...

I hope the solution is easy. Btw. I'm using Acrobat 11.0.09. Thanks,

Re: Export to pdf doesn't support two color projects

Hi, I just wanted to upload the file but it gave me message: The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB. My zipped file is 1.6MB :-(
