Re: Cannot upgrade to next update

I figured it out. Sorry! I still have Quark 10 on my computer, so I believe it keeps trying to update it. I have now removed it and hope that will solve the problem. Thanks for your attention to this.

Cannot upgrade to next update

I have Quark 2015 (11.2.0.6), and periodically get a message saying Quark 10.5.2 is available for update. When I click on install, I always get an error message. I am asked to sign the License Agreement, get the "Installing" window, and it begins to install. ˆt appears to install all the parts throu...

Open Type Fonts & automatic page numbers

This forum has been very useful in helping me understand how to access the extra characters in open type fonts. However, when I build a template and want to put an automatic page number on it, I key in "Command-3". I want the number to be an oldstyle figure. How do I do that using an open type font?...

Troubleshooting needs

Hi Jean-Marie,
Thanks for your reply. I'll look into this. I might need to wipe my entire hard drive in the near future and reinstall everything and get some of my junk off the computer. I have MacKeeper, will that work for cleaning up my hard drive? Thanks.

Troubleshooting needs

Hello, Suddenly from this morning to this afternoon QuarkXPress has decided to no longer boot up. I figured I should go through the "routine" things that one does to get it to work again, but can't find it in previous emails or here. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. Could someone please t...

Moving Layout Tabs

I built a workbook that has 6 parts, and I put each part in a separate "layout" within the larger project. Unfortunately, I put part 3 before part 2. Is there any way to move the tabs so I can keep them in the correct order? I haven't found one.
thanks for your help.

Checking in with my issues Intel Mac/Qk 7.0

FYI. I build a magazine 3 times a year, and have been doing so for years. My backup numbers were in the 600's (I automatically backup), so the original file was very old. I was crashing a LOT, so I finally gave in and build a brand new file with all new templates, new styles, etc. Did not drag stuff...
