Centering web pages in 9.5.4

Mike, thanks for taking the trouble to respond with a suggestion.Unfortunately, I find no such class instruction as you mention in the HTML. In fact, the word "page" does not appear in the HTML at all, at least not the HTML as written by version 9.3.0. And, frankly, I don't want to have to fiddle wi...

Centering web pages in 9.5.4

Pleased to see that the Quark 9.5.4 upgrade runs on Mavericks. However, I have a question regarding centering of web pages. There was a little trick of using two narrow text boxes either side of the layout which did this, as described in KBA-01461-2V3161. Alas it stopped working with the initial upgr...

Will QuarkXpress 10 Support Web Layouts?

Thanks, omegaman. I didn't know about Goldfish and will look into it. Basic web design apps, such as Freeway Express and Sandvox, don't have the sort of typographical controls I need, so I had rejected those. On the other hand, I was reluctant to spend the time learning a fully featured program such...

Will QuarkXpress 10 Support Web Layouts?

So - the way I read this, Quark 10 is abandoning its web module. So the hundreds of pages I have struggled to create on Quark 6 to 9 will need to be remade from scratch in some other web layout app. Is that what you're saying?

centering a web page - in Quark - boo to 9.5

Thank you for the information. Anyone else able to confirm? I'm not going to upgrade to 9.5.1 until I know for sure it is fixed. I already had to downgrade to 9.3 once before because of this issue and I don't fancy going through the same rigmarole again. And I _still_ wish Quark would give us a bett...

centering a web page - in Quark - boo to 9.5

But the solution you mention above stopped working in 9.5. The question was: have they fixed it in 9.5.1?I do wish Quark would give us a better web module.

Web Layout Issue - Do NOT upgrade yet !

Roger that. After upgrading to 9.5 none of my web pages come out looking right when previewed. Also, the clever little trick for centring pages doesn't work under 9.5. I would guess it's something to do with the html converter. I wish Quark would give us a better Web module.

9.5 html pages not displaying properly

Same problem here, jfirst. I upgraded to 9.5 last night and none of my web pages now comes out right in html preview, even the ones without the centring trick. I haven't yet asked Quark but I am guessing it is because of a change to the HTML converter. The answer is to uninstall by dragging the Quark...
