Re: How to Convert a Print Layout to ePub in QuarkXPress 201

Thanks for the reply Sarbit - but for this book I don't want to insert images. I just want to split the text component so that I can have a separate Article and text component for each chapter.

Re: How to Convert a Print Layout to ePub in QuarkXPress 201

I've converted a lot of print layouts to epub in QX9 over the years and have established an effective workflow for doing this, which works well. I'm completely baffled by QX2015 though. The text in my print layouts use an automatic text box, so when I add pages to reflow in 2015, the entire book is ...

App Studio Build Form

I'm trying to request a Build but don't see the Build button anywhere to access the Build Form. The App previews and tests fine, but how do I find the "Build" option.

Also, I used to be able to invite/add other users to preview the app - but can't find where to do this now.

Thanks,

Chris O'Shea

Re: Go to Page Button

Thanks for the info Matthias - yes I've got the publication to work properly now. What had confused me was that the last time I uploaded an app to App Studio from Quark, I had to use the Article ID format beginning "//project_name" in order to get the Go To Page Links to work in the app studio previ...

Re: Go to Page Button

I've got this sorted as well now - apparently all that is required in the ArticleID field for the Go To Page action to work now is the name of the project - so in a project called "Leave.qxp", for which the article ID in App Studio is "articleById://Leave" all that is now required in the the Article...

Go to Page Button

Hi again New problem! Having fixed the problem of multiple articles in an issue, I now can't get the Go to Page actions to work properly. I'm using the Article ID from the App Studio flatplan, excluding the articleById: prefix - so for example where the Article ID shows as articleById://Leave1 the I...

Re: Adding Articles to an Issue in AppStudio

Hi Matthias Since posting my question I've found that if I create the additional layouts (articles) in different project files, then I can add articles to the issue, but if I create the new layouts (articles) in the same project file then I have the problem that I described earlier. So in answer to ...

Adding Articles to an Issue in AppStudio

Hi all I'm having problems adding articles to an issue in AppStudio. I have created a publication, and an issue, and have content in two separate QuarkXPress layouts. The first layout (an article which I have called "Contents") uploads fine, and I can see it in the AppStudio flatplan. When I upload ...
