Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Wow, Mike, that is amazing that you were able to actually fix the font. It never even occurred to me that anyone had the ability to even do that. The font style I'm using is the Walkway UltraBold. I haven't even looked at the vast majority of Walkway to know whether I'd ever have any reason to use t...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Mike, thanks. I don't recall which site I originally downloaded it from. But I did delete the font and downloaded again from another site yesterday (I don't even recall which one...it's on nearly every site!) to try reloading, but I came up with the same result. No, I didn't convert to boxes, but I ...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Not sure if my last Attachment made it through. Here's the PDF export again.

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

OK, onto my next issue. I've pretty much settled on my CMYK colors and have the business card designed. Now I'm ready to export from Quark to PDF and upload to Moo.com. But here's a new problem. When exporting from Quark to PDF, a couple letters of one font keep getting corrupted. Attached here are ...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Thanks, Mike. I do use Facebook; when you say "closed" does that mean I have to know someone to gain entry to the group? Do you have any sort of link on that? Here's another question. I wrote to another online print company (similar to Moo) and asked them for a link to their color specs for submitta...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Mike, Thanks so much once again! Using your excellent instructions, I was able to import the MXL file (which I had overlooked, as you suspected). Now, I see that I can choose that, and when I export the PDF, it does look like the CYMK version of the business card. I'm still not happy with the limite...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Hello back at you... I highly recommend using a PDF generated from QuarkXPress versus exporting to a JPG file. Another of the three files is the GRACoL 2006 ICC profile. I don't know whether you already have this profile. I included it just in case you don't have it. I also don't know what OS you u...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Thank you, Mike. There are two colors in the blue realm. 1) In RGB terms, R=0, G=0 and Blue = 116. There is also this number on the screen: #000074 2) In RBG terms, R=90, G=104 and Blue = 255. The associated number on the screen is: #5A68FF 3) The green color, in RBG terms, R=164, G=200, Blue = 80, ...

Re: I need some help exporting to JPEG

Ok, here's my next question. I agree that at this point, having designed the card in Quark 2017, I should try to fine tune it and send Moo a PDF (or possibly JPEG). OK. So, I'm going to try to match my RGB colors using CMYK. Here's my first problem. I honestly don't think I can match the RBG colors ...
