Re: import PDF issue

Hey Chris. First off, sounds like it's probably a font that wasn't embedded when they made the original PDF. Couple of options here since you are getting this PDF from another PDF. 1. Export the page as an EPS (making sure Fonts Referenced and Embedded are embedded). 2. Export the page as above, use...

Hello Erik,

It's god to see you here again!
Hi Max!!!

How are things in your area of the world?
Thank you for asking.
Not quite good, unfortunately.
I'm fighting with illness, and working and playing with QXP to forget this.
Feel better Max!

Hi Erik! Just to send you my greetings :-) How are you doing? Always glad to hear from you! Take care!
JMS, I am doing fine. Hope you and yours are doing well too. I'd text you, but don't want to incur a charge on your end. :D

Re: Better workflow for import small graphic in text?

I might add, that once an anchored object is pasted in text, it's selectable via text tools. You can select it and copy it and paste it at other points in the text. Of course that duplicates your first image, but once you have placement set up it is a simply matter of dropping a new image directly o...

Re: Suitcase Fusion 19.1.0

The 1st update to Q2018 just killed support for Yosemite. The announcement is here on the forum. It literally will not start on it. The same goes for Windows 7. Support for the next version of Q will not start on Win7. Not that it matters at the moment, but I will just say this. XPress 6.0 launched...

Re: Suitcase Fusion 19.1.0

I've never frequented their forums. But based on your story there it sounds a lot like the garbage that happened here after the release of QuarkXPress 5. The forum went offline for a year and a half and only came back after the release of XPress 6.0. At home I use PowerPC Macs and Dropbox stopped su...

Re: Suitcase Fusion 19.1.0

... I tried to go to the Extensis user forums to discuss, but they've been shut down... They may have not overly liked all the criticism they were getting. Articles they had have also gone away. I think things started going downhill for Suitcase with the original version of Fusion. That release was...

Re: Post Count

I guess this is expected behaviour from a program named after a fundamental physics particle :D (or cheese  ) Eric, maybe the lost posts are still out there wasn't there a deeper way of searching with google?. I found one of m...

Re: Post Count

Life is treating us well here. Just a little too humid because of the rains :) Too bad that you had to switch, we lost one of our most active members. And, enjoy the Sofa!! It's more humid here now then normal as well. In the middle of our monsoon season. Not very enjoyable outside combined with Ph...
